Health and Social Services
General Practitioners
General Practitioners offer you and your family a wide range of medical services and are usually the first people to contact if you or a member of your family are unwell. They will assess, diagnose and treat illnesses and will refer to specialist services as necessary. Most GP surgeries will offer health promotion services such as healthy eating, family planning, travel advice and immunisations for you and your family. You and all your family members need to register with one named practice. The General Practitioners listed below are those in the Sure Start Catchment area.
